Brief Note

Just a brief note to say I am still here. I haven't been feeling up to posting much lately because I've been tired by the time I get home from work, or I just don't feel in the mood. Usually at work I am in the mood to post here, but for some reason I can't access blogger from the computer at the school.

Things are going pretty well. The first semester has finally come to an end and I start teaching winter camps (which is just basically extra classes for the kids who want to take them) on January 3rd. We were give topics to teach: politics, history, literature, biology, and earth science. I don't know a blessed thing about any of these topics so I wasn't too thrilled. My friend Sarah (who came to Korea with me and another of our friends, Lorie) is a history major so she jumped at that topic - lucky her. Anyway, my topic ended up being earth science. I've got the topics that I'll teach chosen, just don't know how well I'll do with it. I'll trust that God will get me through this, since He's the only one who can.

As well, on January 31st I, along with friends Tamara, Tiffany, and Epinine (she's Korean, and that's her English name) are going to Egypt until February 25. We'll be going to the pyramids, the Valley of the Kings, taking a Nile River cruise, climbing Mt. Sinai, etc. I'm excited to go, but also a little scared. Other than coming to Korea, I've never travelled before.

Anyway, just wanted to give a little update to let anyone who still stops by here know that I am still around. I'll try to write more often. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and happy new year!
