I titled the blog, "Confirm The Work of Our Hands" because when I originally created it, this blog was a hodgepodge of several different things - general topics, Christian topics, writing, photography, knitting, etc.
I have since separated my blogs, hoping to make things a little more "specialized". You'll find links to my other blogs on my sidebar, and I hope you'll stop by there as well!

I have been a "real" Christian for twelve years now. I continually strive to be more like Jesus each and every day. I'm not perfect, I often fail in my striving, and I definitely have my share of struggles in life. But, the Lord is faithful and He's not given up on me. He's with me each and every step along this journey.
God has gifted me with talents which I enjoy using for His Kingdom and I give all the glory and praise back to Him! I'm a knitter, and one of my ministries is making hats, mittens, socks, scarves, etc. to donate to those who might not otherwise be able to afford these items on their own.
A few years ago, I graduated with my Bachelor of Education, and obtained my teaching license. After two years of getting very little supply/substitute teaching, I applied for a full-time teaching position at a Christian school on the opposite side of Canada from where I was living. In late summer of 2011, I headed out west to begin this new chapter in my life.
*** more coming soon - it's an ongoing process!
