I'm wondering where that comes from. I've always heard that they do, indeed, have souls, and will be in heaven. I wonder if anyone agrees with what these folks have to say about it: http://www.answers2prayer.org/bible_questions/Answers/animals/pets.html

I also think what a horrible place the Earth would be without all the animals. We depend on them for our very survival. Seems like some folks just want to place mankind so far above the animals that they're barely anything more than "biological machines" for our use and destruction (if we so choose). I'm not a animal rights activist/protester, but I do think that they, too, are worthy creations of God, and we should have some respect for them... even the chimps! :DChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15077476885812193156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12777276.post-1125592404115861092005-09-01T09:33:00.000-07:002005-09-01T09:33:00.000-07:00Chris, thanks for visiting and leaving your commen...Chris, thanks for visiting and leaving your comment. I don't think that evolutionary biology is saying that there is no God, or that God did not play a part in creation. But it is very simple childish logic to say things like "God created humans in his image, so there is no way we came from apes" -- how do we know how God works? I think the way in which God did His work is fascinating science. Unfortunately, what "creation science" teaches is almost totally false.

I probably don't agree with much of your readers here, but please know that I, too, am a Christian, but I also believe that God's created universe is not described only in the Bible. The bigger revelation is in the actual creation itself. That's what science tries to explore, with great success.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15077476885812193156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12777276.post-1125553725748155512005-08-31T22:48:00.000-07:002005-08-31T22:48:00.000-07:00Awesome post, I love this, I haven't gone to the s...Awesome post, I love this, I haven't gone to the site yet, will go there now!Live, Love, Laughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03888736764866973600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12777276.post-1125549472222802652005-08-31T21:37:00.000-07:002005-08-31T21:37:00.000-07:00It is truly sad when people try so hard to take al...It is truly sad when people try so hard to take all of the value out of who God really is.
